      I think something like thehun.net is riskless.. it has 1M bookmarkers... it's pretty hard to fuck that up before making a nice profit.

                                                          the question is also based on whether you could do a better job, see more potential, putting your spin and creativity into it. plus personal satisfaction owning the site counts for something.

                                                                                  your wasted revenue is my easy money. i have no idea how profitable it would be to go back to something like they had earlier, but i know at the time it made more back then as a banner farm, than it does now.

It's just a matter of choosing efficiency. Consider also how low your expenses are, virtually nill while high traffic sites have to support a large bandwidth cost and lower conversions.
