You print out & sign two copies of the license - one for your own records and one for his.

Sign one copy and return it to him - so that he has it on record, who is using his content & on what domains. If you don't return the signed license to him & you get caught using his content - that's your ass.

You then sign the other copy and keep it on file for your records.
It's necessary to do this for any content that you receive - freebie or purchased. This protects everyone involved - usually.
