Everyone here saying he will get sued.. you don't know what you're talking about, seriously. I know domains that rank higher in google than the official site and the sponsor allows that because they're advertised on the site. He never said he's using it for anything else, and if you buy it then it's your problem if you do stupid shit and get sued.
Most sponsors don't seem to care as long as you are promoting their shit with it. (with the exception of a few, like Lightspeed with Tawnee Stone domains)
That's what a lot of the search engine guys seem to do.
Now if you bought captainstabbin.net and pointed it to a full page ad for thebangboat.com, then you would have something to worry about.

Do you know for a fact that lightspeed has a problem with it? http://www.google.com/search?q=tawnee+stone - The top 4 results are not the official tawneestone domain and i've been watching the SE's to see how I rank for each model, so I know they've been there a long time. Anyway, what else would you do with tawnee stone search engine traffic?? You can't do anything with it because the surfer knows what they want, so just link to the official site.

There was a thread about it on here. If I remember correctly, I believe they even let one person who was using a Tawnee domain transfer ownership of the domain to them, and then they still let them keep using the domain to promote Tawnee Stone, they just wanted ownership of the domain, for legal reasons I guess.
