Yeah Myrtle Beach is cool, but the further inland you go, the more backward and biggoted the people become. Lots of implants around the coastal areas, but otherwise it the grow up and get a home close to your parents and never leave the state sort of thing. well, we have broadway@ the beach, its 10 clubs on 1 street, kinda like a non stop madi graw, but thats mainly for the tourists, most of the locals here hang out in the hole in the wall kinda joints, avoiding as much tourist contact as possible. there are a ton of other clubs around here, and just about a strip club on every other corner, we have a huge golf season, and those girls there make a killingOriginally posted by hudson

Sammy, im in Surfside, about 10 mins south of myrtle beach. I get to somewhat avoid the heavy tourist traffic, and can take the back streets into myrtle when i need to go there. You guys should get up with me before you come down, a local point of view here really helps. We dont pay for most of the stuff tourists will, for instance, im going to play golf with a friend of mine today (im not a golfer im going for the beer) there is 10 of us and we are all playin for free. If anyone plays golf, then you would know thats one hella deal. Same with all the clubs, locals dont pay the heavy door charges tourists do.
