                  It shouldn't say under god and it shouldn't say of the united states of america.

                  I guess the origional words "my flag" made it seem as if the country was a collection of the people, rather than the people being residents of the country.

                      Yes. And a Baptist minister, to boot.

                      The Pledge was posted anonymously in the magazine, so there's always been dispute about weather Bellamy or James Upham was the real author. I think they both claimed it, but Bellamy won by a vote.

                          yep I read this about this a while ago
                          SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
