If a foreign military invaded your country, destroyed your town, killed your brothers, and tried to convert you to their religion, you'd probably start burning motherfuckers alive too.
If I ever had a family member raped or murdered, I'd do whatever I could to exact vengeance from the perp. Up to and including attacking and killing him in the courtroom during the trial.
No jury would convict me, and even if they did I'd still be content in my actions.
