    PROBILLING and VEROTEL

HI. i am a webmaster located in Brazil. After the Globill bankruptcy, we foreigner webmasters do not have many choices in terms of new merchants. I am using Verotel services now. I would like to use Probilling also, but nobody answer our e-mail.

What is the future for foreigner webmaster? Anybody could help us indicating good merchants that accept Visa without paying the exorbitant USD750?

    kind regards
    Christian Rod

I always get a response from PROBilling within 24 hours. Try again and make sure your email is working and you don't have any blocks on it . . . Try calling them too.

Go to the continent where there are the most processors and trade within that VISA banking region. Namely, get a European corp and use *any* processors within the EU - includes, CCBill, IBill and others.

This is not about $750, but committing to the laws of the US, giving information on your business to both VISA and the US govt who will then act as they see fit and screw you. This track record is not new.

A Euro corp can cost as little as $500 and enables the use of a wider range of transaction processors in Europe than exist in the US. (More on the way!) Currently, the demand for information from processors outside the US does not involve a sperm count.

And if you're not a fan of paying taxes get your company setup on Gibraltar.....it's cheap and will save you a shitload of money.

You kinda took the words out of my mouth!

christianrod30 - You are based in Brasil. If may be, depending on your personal circumstances, there may not be a need for an actual offshore corp (ie Gibraltar). It is possible to have a UK company (cost around $500) to achieve the aim

But Dynamite is right.. in the long term it is probably worth the extra $$'s to get an offshore corp!

Hi Alvaro! All you need is a corp formation agent - they are usually lawyers in Gibraltar.

Have a look at this thread - though it uses "Canadian webmasters", the same information applies.

                                  http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=156804

There are also a few formation agents mentioned who will be pleased to answer any questions on legalities - either by email or phone. They are all OK and will respect confidentiality.

                                      Thank you all.

But in fact what Visa really wants is to charge everybody in order to gain more money in a profitable industry as adult industry. It is also applicable to search engines. Yahoo charges USD 600 for adult content and only USD 99 for normal content. Why? For the simple reason that adult industry makes money and they want their slice of "pizza".

As an oligopoly they can do anything since they control almost 60% of all credicard transactions worldwide.

If you Know a minimum of risk managment, you can control chargebacks. Visa is not worry about this. They just want their slice.

                                      Regards
                                      Christian Rod

                                        oh yeah that's it.... pffft

Visa is so strapped for cash that they need your $750....

The $750 has nothing to do with making Visa more money.
