I have skipped MANY MANY content sites cause im too fucking lazy to reg and go through that stupid ass process. there are plenty of other good content providers out there that dont require you to register etc... Ill stick with them.

you are losing business if you have to register at your site to see the samples.

When webmasters register for a u/p to see our niche video and photo content, they see ALL of our content, not lame "demo" pics or "sample" videos.
They get to see the actual product, as it would appear on their site and that's why we protect it with a u/p. It's essentially set up like an actual members area of a paysite. What you see is what you get.

Sure it takes a couple minutes to fill out the form, but you immediately get an email with the link to activate your pass and take you to the content.

Simple, straight forward, no bullshit.

There is one point i think should be addressed though. Suppose you are a webmaster paying for conent and the content provider did not protect his conent from linkers and surfers. I think as a content provider it would be a disservice. IN our case it may be a little different, because we offer feeds. For image providers, censored thumnails i thikn would be ok.

You guys who protect your content for money think it is bad for content sellers to protect content for money

You who do not show the surfer anything before they buy can not find the time to register that you are a qenuine adult webmaster free

Why would you want the content seller to show everyone the content for free the same content you are buying and not showing the surfer until they pay (you do not have to pay do you to see the content?)

How can the content seller tell if the persons are of legal age? They confirm you have a domain registered to you !

I can understand protecting the feeds etc..

I don't want a ton of surfers jerking off at my content store... Not that I care for the traffic - it's cheap nowadays, but it's supposed to be a business, not charity.

I don't think webmasters will be happy if I plug surfer-oriented adds into each preview page...

And honestly, even now 80% of visitors on my site are just jerkers, not webmasters. BTW, when I started to send them to a Top (plugged a link "for surfers" into enter page) I found them pretty well converting

And there is another consideration - if you are a big guy with big money, who can afford to be lazy, you do not come to me, I come to you. I have no problem registering to see content. But please at least do this:
Have a list of what niches you carry on the outside of the protected area
Have a COUPLE of thumbs as examples of your work on the outside (5 different softcore 150 pixel thumbs isn't going to get anyone off) so that I can see your quality of work
Have a god damned "forgot my password" link!!! What is the fucking sense of making people register if they have to go back and RE-register after their computer or cookies get wiped because you don't have a function to email them their password again?? Arrgh.

I'm guessing you missed the Legal seminar at Internext. One of the points they mentioned was affiliate programs and content providers who distribute content to webmasters without checking the age of the supposed webmaster. Its a huge loophole and backdoor

Other warnings include that Webmaster affiliate programs can face a huge problem if they are not cautious that all their affiliates are over 18. By distributing content to affiliates that are potentially minors and having kids selling porn can become a HUGE problem this industry does not need to see. Take precautions. This includes message boards and community type activities online.
