By the way...it is my belief that California's ills started with Pete Wilson and deregulation of California's utility suppliers...the lack of power plants built during Pete Wilson's term...and then the "robbery" inflicted upon California by Eron...compounded by President Bush's Administration...not stepping in and stopping the "robbery" by Eron. Gray Davis just happened to be at the "helm" when all of the shit came down and is now being held responsible. I am not competely satisfied that he will not be re-elected but it is looking grim.

I think its great. I voted for Jesse "The Body" Ventura when I lived in Minnesota and he did awesome things for that state. The best thing about him is that he stood up for what he believed regardless of what the media or others thought.

One of the guys that was bugging me when I was in retail management a few years ago, worked for cal trans.. He was suppose to be evaluating for road works etc etc and writing reports. My brother works for a college...a professor with tenture had his department cut out...in one of the previous cutbacks...but because he has tenure he has to be retained...so he teaches fencing three hours per week and is paid about $80,000 per.
