    Withdrawing money from stormpay ...

I just received money from stormpay and I want to withdraw it. I try to receive a check by the mail from them, but it always cancel my action...

So it seems like I cannot get my money using check, and since I am not from the USA, I cannot get a wire transfer... I also cannot find any link in the admin to get the Global Pay ATM card ...

So, how can I withdraw my money then?

    Btw, I'm from Canada.

    Anyone knows?

    Thanks!

Got the same problem trying to get them to issue a check to my company.

They cancel the check request and send me a note telling me that I need a "business license" inorder to cash the check. I send them a note telling them I have the license but they either don't get or choose to ignore my messages.

I was able to get a check issued for another account I have, in my name, not a company. There was no problem at all.

What I don't get is WTF is it to them! Just write the check and let me worry about cashing it. As if I'd ask them to write me a check I couldn't cash...

BTW, they tell me they are waiting for the next shipment of GlobalPay cards, then they will set up a link and let us apply.

Hmmmm...can't get a card, can't get a check...they're going to have to do better than this.

My account is under my name... I also added a mastercard card to my account, and tried to withdraw the money using a check, and it still didn't work.

Maybe they are not issuing checks to canadians, even if its not written on their websites?

I just looked on the bank account setup section and it says US Banks.

I know. But it says nothing about checks... and I still cannot receive one, since I get a cancellation of the action a few minutes after I try to get one.

I'm Canadian, got & cashed a check in my name just a few weeks ago.

I've read on the site that they don't release funds until they have "cleared". I think that means that your customer funds his account and sends money to you but that money is held until the original "funding" transaction is processed. If his payment came from an existing Stormpay balance, the funds would already have "cleared" and you would be able to withdraw them immediately.

Either that or it's all a big scam to get people to deposit funds that can never be withdrawn.

They are hiding that number pretty good these days.

I'll pay $20 via Stormpay to the first person that gives me a working StormPay customer service/support phone number.

The numbers you posted were for a place called "Virtual Money", they managed to dig up a Support number for StormPay.

Stormpay gave me permission to post the number so here it is for everyone to enjoy:

                              StormPay Customer Service 1-931-647-8750

The general problem with checks is that they don't like to issue them to company names without checking first. Too many customers asking for checks payable to a business with no bank account.

They weren't receiving my e-mails but once I spoke to them, they were fine with writing the checks however I wanted them.

Both Pam and Lynn were very helpful. It was confidence inspiring.
