                        Unfortunately a lot of boards act like they're a kindergarten and they have to babysit their members...                                 Remember 3 or 4 months back I went on a rampage and called out some webmasters who are delinquent in their payments to a few designers? I hit about 9 boards to let my fellow webmasters know that this was going on and that these people should be avoided, at least until payment to the designers was made in full. Hey, somebody had to do it, right? I was shocked to find that a few boards out there simply did not want to know about it, preferring to keep a wonderful disney-like atmosphere where everyone loves one another and remains blissfully ignorant of the world around them.

                                Let's call it what it is.

                                What those boards do, what Adam has done to me, it's called CENSORSHIP folks, and censorship in most of it's forms has a very ugly head. GFY may be a zoo, a big vortex filled with goofball soup, but at least here we have the freedom to speak our minds, good OR bad, on virtually any subject or controversy. Your posts here must stand or fall on their own merit. It's no surprise that if any of the admins from the mega adult corporations are going to make an announcement.... they come here to do it.

                                I prefer a place where if I have a problem that I feel other webmasters would benefit from knowing about I can actually tell them or warn them etc. Thank you, rant over and out.

Complete dipshits, morons and retards that continually act like doorknobs should be banned, period, from any board. No board is perfect, and I don't agree that some words should be auto-edited like they are, but that at least can be worked around and lived with.

                                                                                For the record, I have always extolled the virtues of porncity as well. That is a great board, and my above posts were in no way intended to be a slam on pc itself. I have always had the greatest respect for Mayor, Crow, Tuffruff, and the way they have run that board sensibly and fairly for so many years. There is a great latitude given over there in the way of free speech as well, again.... within reason.

                                                                                                As I've said before, if and when Mayor, or even Crow, were to return to pc bbs and want to settle this, I would certainly consider returning. But with Adam in control I have no desire to subject myself to his brand of kiddy shit for another minute.

                                                                                                                            I did say in another of my posts here that I don't approve of the censored words on boards, but I am sure that the owners have their reasons for it. As I also said, at least we can work around it and get on with posting. When you are censored through banning, however, you can't.


                                                                                                                            If I really want to talk about A_s_h_c_r_o_f_t or call someone a c_u_n_t, there are certainly ways to do so.
