    Family or dollars?

I have a bunch of Civil War items...should I pass them down the family or cash them in for myself?

depends how much they are worth. If you can get like $15K for some of the items, then eBay it.

Cash them in and use the money to have some good times with your family.

Family and tradition get my vote. Someday it will be worth more especially since you can keep it in your family.

Kinda of torn on which way to go. A couple of them came from my grandfather but not through the family from the Civil War. The rest, I have bought at gun shows and antique shops over the years. I don't need the money unless I were to use it to start buying exclusive stuff for a site that I want to build in this industry some day.

Family. If its your kids or grandkids it would be nice to give them something they might be able to sell if theyre ever in need.

Save it for when you are in desperate need for quick cash..

Desperate not meaning when you are at a strip club and want two lapdances but only have enough cash for one.. Desperate as in your wife has left you, your kids hate you, and you are forced to suck dick for crack..

Cash some of them, the little things that you think
will not worth much, hand them down to your
                      family.
