I thought it was excellent. It was nice meeting Seymore, Nina, Eric from Adult.com (the guy can deep throat like a pro) and a bunch of others. Pornopalooza was out of control. And... I didn't have to drive far. The only upsetting part was I didn't get to meet TeenGodFather. I really wanted to see what that fat fuck looks like in real life.

The parties were pretty full-throttle as always ("Win a handjob", live sex), the show seemed a little smaller (less attendees) but I can't prove that, fewer ferrari's were rented than normal, and good business was to be had (at least for us it was).
Everyone has their own reasons for going to shows. I go to obtain new business, maintain existing business and meet people I don't know who I might someday do business with. Every person you know is a potential way to make more money. A handshake with one person can turn into a handshake with a person you need to meet. It's always better to have an introduction.
Meeting people in person has always been better (more useful) for me than exchanging IMs with someone's board nickname.
