The holy books have been influencing sex centuries. Then as is now - sex permeates through society and touches everyone's life. However, in the last 10 years our knowledge of the "sexual person" has increased more then all the past centuries combined. In fact, our sexual knowledge has increased at a pace faster then what occurred as a result of the printing press.

During the "printing press" era - churches of all types scrambled to keep the "holy books" within church walls (control). The situation then - is similar to now. Churches (Muslim & Christian) are struggling to adjust "religious doctrine" to a more modern understanding of sexuality - in particular for women.

Almost every conceivable type of sexual activity has been documented in the holy books - except one, the combined fertility cycle or "natural family planning". That's because it's only "recently" that we know it works and how to teach it. Allowing women to CONTROL their family planning is something most "religions" are struggling to adjust to. Yet - the dissemination of this knowledge - can not longer be stopped as a result of democracy and the internet.

For example ... and there are many many ...
Bathsheba is taking her ritual menstruation wash provided by a servant. The Bible says, that King David secretly watched her taking a bath, committed adultery with her while Bathsheba's legitimate husband was in battle (on behalf of the king). The king could not convince the husband (who he cheated on with his wife) to have sex with someone else, so he then conspired to transfer him to another battle where he would hopefully be killed.

The Holy Books (all religions) have sex through out.

In fact a complete discussion of the Bible is probably now banned by VISA and 2257 compliance, as there are certain things you can no longer have graphics to - on certain websites.

Censorship of anykind - is not good - and we should always be aware - and vigilant.

Currently, on the internet if you discussed the entire Bible - in multimedia format - it would be banned.
