Rich has the money. The other person doesnt get fucked over unless rich decides to fuck him over. If the IRS freezes your bank account after you get a large wire as a payment, do they have to give it back? LOLComment

Yes, he did. Everyone has to agree to the terms before they sign up. That's the way it is. If people hate PayPal so much, why do they continue to use them? That makes absolutely no sense to me.Originally posted by stocktrader23

Try to use "refund option" to refund $1000 to the guy who payed you and then find an alternative option on how the guy can send you those 1k.

No, the guy that sends the money doesnt get fucked over. The courts would back him up on any claim against the person he sent the money to if he doesnt receive what was promised.Comment

Well if nothing helps, ask guy to request a charge back so he can get the money from paypal and then find an alternative way.Originally posted by lil2rich4u2

You're probably right but in the event that there was actual merchandise purchased, once the funds are in the sellers account they would be required to deliver the purchased merchandise. The money is in whistledick's account so he's liable for it. It's not the senders problem whatsoever.Originally posted by detoxed

A guy did a chargeback on an item I sold him on ebay once. Paypal cancelled his account permanantly and told me before they did it that they don't allow people who chargeback. They honor it then boot their ass. So your friend is probably correct.Originally posted by lil2rich4u2

Thats if you do a credit card chargeback. People in this thread were talking about doing it through Paypal under the Seller Protection Policy.Originally posted by stocktrader23

Wow, you're really stupid. You get your original account frozen for breaking the TOS. So your name is already flagged in their database as someone that has broken the TOS. You signup for another account. They shouldn't turn you down, you might actually use this one within the boundaries of the TOS. You'd think so, after having your original account frozen. But no, the very first transaction you make is a 1000 dollar transaction against the TOS of paypal for adult goods. Nice one. Paypal didn't do a thing wrong. You did.26 + 6 = 1Comment

there was nothing in or about that transaction that would implicate it to be adult related.Originally posted by chodadog
