...but are extremely impressive. ;) Thanks to those people who helped turn them back around.. from what I hear it was the topic of dinner conversation. Just in case of any confusion, yes, PSW is still here and won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

I note the fishiness in the Q&A.. unfortunately globill and acpay tainted the ability of honest posts to seem.. well.. honest. I don't know what our motivation would be to exhibit at internext, actually address the rumors, and try to keep everyone informed (at 6:12am no less) unless we actually were continuing pressing forward. Also, what reason would we have to promise funds to clients if we planned to keep the money ourselves. I just don't think the pessimistic view adds up... but GFY is really good at making fanciful stories of woe and misfortune.

People ACPAY and Globill had some serious problems with VISA cause they tried to get around there rules. You can't do that and win. PSW has always been straight up with Visa and followed the rules. More so than Epoch / CCbill / Ibill. They don't do cross sells or free trials and shit.

I don't see them as being anywhere near the risk that globill was, i'm sure they'll work out there stuff and get going again.

I won't be sending any signups there way till there solid again but I really don't see them going down.

You don't think the pessimistic views add up do you? Let me tell you something..... in light of recent events in the 3rd party processing world, I don't see how you can say that. Many webmasters and affiliates lost a lot of money, some lost a *shitload* of money from these processors going out of business. Some of us had the forsight to see the writing on the wall, but many had the boom lowered instantly with little or no warning. Is it really so farfetched that people are going to be wary and instantly concerned when you (PSW) start sending out similar-sounding notices (re: "your account is 'on hold', your money will be held indefinitely")??

I don't think so.

I hope I am reading you wrong, but to me it sounds like you are 'poo-pooing' this concern instead of treating it seriously. The concern is legitimate, remember the old saying "once bitten - twice shy"? Webmasters have been bitten by billers lately, and bitten hard. We know the problem largely lies with Visa/MC as well, but I have been less than thrilled at the treatment some paysite owners and affiliates have been given by a few processors lately. Just thought you should be aware of this.

Your responses on that other thread have been mostly very professional, thank you for that.

I also have faith in PSW. They have been more upfront and honest in the past about their problems than any of the other billing companies I have dealt with. People also said last winter when PSW had problems that they were going out of business any minute, but they didn't and I don't think they will this time either.

The first thing I did last night after reading through their letter was move PSW from my primary processor to my secondary and make my secondary my primary. However, after talking to them first thing this morning (I was pleasantly surprised that there was someone there to take my call first thing this morning) I feel much better than I did after initially reading the letter. I have no intention of dropping them and as soon as they send out the next payment, I will move them back to my primary processor.

Screw this, with globill acpay doing this which I had used both and thank the porn gods I was in the phase to switch everything to epoch/ccbill/ibill after what just happened, I dont see why ANYONE in their right mind would go to anyone else but CCBILL epoch and yes EVEN Ibill and globill stole 1000's of dollars from us webmasters and then acpay them fucks are theives to, they said we could transfer our shit over to other cc. BULLFUCKINGSHIT! Epoch didnt want nothing to do with it, and Neither did CCBILL. Or Ibill They all 3 flat out said we wont do it. That is alot of money I just lost besides being anal raped from somone I THOUGHT was a friend.

Humm jeez I wonder.....duhhh what reason?

So webmasters don't terminate all globill users resulting in chargebacks and less money for them to steal.

They are holding over 8 g's of my money. I have already terminated all users on one of my small sites but still thinking about my main site.

Do you guys really think they will pay us out?
I mean they lied already by saying they only had few days notice from the bank but if that was true they how come my last cheque sent out was on July 7th for my main site and June 1st for my smaller site?

Wait a second, this is getting out of hand so I'll reply to the spamming monkey.

The domain this person referred to is spherehost.com, which we registerred, set up the layout for ($55 template), then eventually gave the ready-to-go site to a 'friend' for reselling as he wanted a co-branded affiliate program. This person let us know he won't be reselling after all but will be sharing a server elsewhere, so we auctioned the domain. At that point it did not have any customers or receive any hits, the domain + layout were sold to this same 'friend' for $65.

So I don't know where this persons bullshit is coming from. I do know he has contacts with a former employee of VibeHosting which our sales guy fired just after I joined. I understand he is pissed but at no point was he a partner and considering his past we no longer wish to have anything to do with him (he's a backstabber).

Good luck finding any reicent customers say anything bad about us. Hope this clears it up a little.

Why would you get seperate checks for each site? I have three sites that use PSW and they only send me a single combined payment.

Actually, this is not entirely correct. PSW continued processing Visa (defying the cross-border rules) for non USA/EU clients until early 2003.

Is it true that PSW lost their merchant account and have no where to settle transactions right now? The other rumor is that you are scrambling to get a new merchant account and are queing the transactions to let them roll when you get your new merchant account up (if you get one that is and if this rumor is true).

Has anyone tried running a charge on their card to see if it is showing on their cards and what the billing descriptor reads?

That was one of the first things we did... test, test and more testing. At least it helps put one's mind a little more at ease -
