    Death to Spam

A company (www.cloudmark.com) claimed that they have a filtering program for Outlook for Windows users that is quite effective and claims to keep over 90% of spam out of your inbox automatically.

Need some reviews or other suggestions. Im getting alot of spams lately... i guess we all do right now.

                                      No, spampal's missing something
if something slips though the filter, copy the email addres to your buffer (CTRL+C) and rightclick on the spampal icon in the taskbar, then hit "blacklist"

you know, email spam doesn't bother me that much. all i gotta do it hit delete a few times. what bothers me is when i go down to my mailbox of my apt building, and it is crammed to the top full of adds and america online disks.

Spampal is the best. Its free, constantly being updated, and filters using bloclkists and optional plugin filters, like Regex or Baysian...... Not much SPAM gets through with the multiple layer approach. It catches about 98% with a few false positives here and there. Nice integration with Outlook Express. It is written by James Farmer who is active in the anti-spam community and cognizant of most stupid spammer tricks.

Use SPAMCOP to report any lowlife spamming vermin that you find particulary obnoxious which most of these scumbags are.

And loverboy...you do need to configure it so it will intercept email before it gets do the inbox and then you need to create a rule and **SPAM** folder in Outlook Express to hold the turdlets. As I said earlier, Spampal works even better if you use some of the optional plugins, but they do take a bit of effort to setup....

I downloaded some spam shit proggie for outlook a few hours ago and it deleted all my sponsors emails containing all my codes Luckily I found the .dbx file and restored it, but then I couldnt delete the proggie for some reason had a hell of time getting it off my computer then after reboot I start up outlook and it changed so many settings, and emails were being flagged, and blah blah blah....... never again will I use any spam proggie for my email! That just totally sucked monkey balls.

I already configured the Rules Wizard, yet still no luck. Im using Oultlook 2002.

Spampal is GREAT,(and Free) but you need to read the directions on the instalation. You have to change how your mail client checks mail so it goes through Spampal before it gets to your inbox. With 25 addresses it took about 10 min to set it up, and I only set it for medium protection, and it catches 75% + of the spam. Max level will catch almost all the spam but will also put some Good emails in the spam folder.
