Starting today, July 30th 15.00 CET, DutchBilling will cease its
operations. Therefore, starting this date and time, your website
will be unable to accept any credit card or check transactions
through DutchBilling in the future.
After very large and extensive discussions with our acquiring
banking relationships worldwide our banks forced us, together
with the rules and regulations from VISA and MasterCard International,
to stop processing immediately.
The reason of closure is the affiliation between the type of
content provided on the websites where DutchBilling is billing
for and the brand VISA and/or MasterCard. Both card associations
don't want to have any affiliation with this type of content.
Your balance, as well as the future payouts, will be paid
according to the following schedule.
1. The last normal payment occurred Monday July 28th 2003.
This payment should have been received into your account
already.
2. The following payout, minus any credits or chargebacks,
is scheduled for Monday October 27th. This amount is the
total of all invoices between August 4th and October 27th,
minus a 50% holdback of this total.
3. The last payout, scheduled for January 26th, will include
the remainder of your payment, including all holdbacks and
reserves.
The above schedule applies for all DutchBilling webmasters,
linkers and resellers.
All end-users will continue to have access to your website,
and our automated systems will automatically delete these
users when their subscriptions are expired.
Despite the message above, the entire DutchBilling staff
and management thank you for your business and we regret
that we have to stop our business relationship.
