"The average human brain weighs 1.4kg, but consumes 1/3 of the body's energy and blood supply. It consists of 100 billion nerve cells, with 100 million billion connections between them. The cerebral cortex is only millimeters thick but accounts for 40% of the entire brain mass. A human brain has around a hundred million times as much raw computing power as a modern day PC."

"Your H A I R is about as strong as aluminum.. which grow about 1 / 72" per day, or 1/2" per month. The rate & thickness of growth is unaffected by cutting. In an average lifetime it will grow 25 ft. Between 50-60 a day are shed (which increases in spring & fall). Human body will produce about 350 miles of hair in a lifetime.
"Your brain is 80% water. Your blood actually is less fluid (or more solid) than your brain. If you unfolded your brain, it would cover an ironing board. Nerve impulses from the brain travel as fast as 170 mph. The brain is immune to pain! Any pain from injury, illness or whatever, is perceived by the brain. It has no receptor cells (like we have in other parts of our bodies) that sense pain. There are a lot of surgical procedures that are carried out on the brain whilst the patient is awake- the skull & surrounding tissue is numbed by anaesthetic; after this a patient feels no pain.

Go bite into a wintergreen lifesaver in a dark bathroom...those motherfuckers really spark, I didn't believe this shit for a second, but it seriously works...the weather's got to be decently dry out.
What this has to do with the human body, I have no idea
yeah, brain has no pain receptors or whatever, i've seen documentaries on epilepsy where they operate on people's brains while they're awake, they probe different spots on the brain and ask the patient questions.
human body is amazing in how it works but fucking scary - one cell decides one day to start dividing out of control and goes on its merry way - u have no idea until one day, sometimes years later, u discover there's a lump somewhere in your body or some other symptons - cancer.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Whoa dude! Just tried it. Better than drugs! I'm hooked!
It's funny how cats eyes don't seem to work in the same way. When my cats have been out in the sun and come back into the more sheltered light inside, their eyes stay like little slits for the next half hour.
The other cool thing is that if they see a potential pounce, their pupils will grow considerably within about a second.
