    Acacia is not the one to blame

    Blame the patent office that granted them the patent without obviously doing much research into whether video over the internet already existed.

    If the patent office had done a more thorough job back in 1991, I doubt anyone would be talking about Acacia today.

    Broad patent claims like this should be scrutinized extremely hard by the patent office before being granted.

    So everyone give a big one finger salute to the US Patent and Trademark Office

                                      Yes, a fucking brown bear, who obviously posesses a jd (no doubt board certified in patent law) has an issue with the US patent office's dilligence?????

                                      We ALL fucking disagree with ACACIA's filings, but please. If you are going to attempt a serious post at least make an effort to substantiate your claims, otherwise stick it on one of the 500 other threads regarding ACACIA.
