Im Going Into Newbie Mode - Need Advise, Please Help ..

Ok the only way to get true feedback is to disclose my stats i supose, so i will include a screenshot of them.

ALL of this traffic is comming from a single page, that is getting very targetted traffic from ONLY the SE's ... no trades, bought traffic, tgp's, ONLY SE's ...

The mag i am using is 100% targetted to my traffic, they happen to have one that fits my EXACT niche, and i thought this would help.

The page is simple ... the main page has a link says "No Credit Card? CLICK HERE!" and it leads to a page that has nothing more than this screeny below ...

Ok so my main page is doing its job and getting it to my second page (shown above) and my second page is doing its job by getting the hits to the sponsor (see stats below).

What is the problem with the confirms? If i can get HALF of my submits to actually confirm it, then i will be happy since this site was just sitting there anyhow.

Is it possibly something that the sponsor should/could be doing differently?

Here is a pic of my stats for the week, remember i just started pushing them so the ratio and traffic has gone up and down as i tweak my pages to get better CTR.

Please advise ... i would really like to tweak this and make it work better for me.

Just because you tell them that they must use a real email to sign up doesn't mean they'll believe you.

How many times have you gone to re-install RealPlayer or Quicktime after a format and put in an address like [email protected]... and got taken to the download page?

Same thing.
People sign up with fake emails trying to be taken to the members area and therefore, don't confirm.
Deal with it.

isnt that what the 1st page is for? you said it's all SE traffic.....how much more targeted do you want?

good or bad, it is getting hits to the sponsor. However the only reason that page is there is to target the hits better prior to hitting the sponsors front door ... that isnt working too well i think.

I will listen to the guys above and try a few days with sending direct from my main page .. see how it works out.

yes the SE hits are delivered targetted directly for this niche ...

however i wanted a chance to brainwash these hits into using a real email addy, and going to check addy right after submitting.

In my head i thought it would work nice .. i was wrong, and its time to make a change.

Sly i think we talked about this via ICQ one day ....

I had the traffic going to silvercash since they also have the exact niche i need. I was getting not too many signups.

When SC went down i went looking for a new program and ran into this recently ... I like email prog's since they generally show alot more activity than a regular sponsor .. its unfortunate that they also take ALOT longer to build upto any sort of $$$

BTW overall i think that this is working out better for me than SC did.

At this rate it will be the equivilent of 4 or 5 signups at SC, i dont think iw as getting that many per month off of this page.

So even at these ratio's it is still better than what it was, but i have the feeling that it can be doing much better on an email program.

As targetted to the niche as it is, i would expect much greater conversions (off any sponsor) i just wish i knew how to work it ....

I would test a few programs to see what makes you the most.

email programs do well on mass traffic. if its targeted SE traffic you would probably make more of off a PPS and then have a exit to a Free email program

Also all our sites have $1 trial for a month in the Porn4abuck program and now we have Porn4aBuck traffic back where you can control the exit to have 0 or 50

and don't forget we will have Free trials again very very soon

lets say i got 5k of se traffic to my free site would there be away to say , if traffic from http://www.google.com redirect to page thats would convert instead of giving them free porn. free porn shouldnt be easy to find.

then why use all the free porn to begin with?

you can fill your pages to the ears with free content, doesnt have to be revealing hardcore shots.

You can give the surfer 10 free pics per page, and spread out over 100 pages = a buttload of free porn.

But if you use all softcore and semi-revealing shit, then a link like "click here for hardcore stuff" or something to that affect ...

no need to redirect, if you cheat, you will be caught. Trust me.

lil2rich4u2...I see that you are promoting the CE Mags..You have to realize that If a surfer has ever signed up with "any" Ce mag before...you won't get ($1.50) for the same e-mail address.

Also some surfers don't "automatically" check their e-mail afterwards..you have to give it some time. And with the Ce Mags there is always a chance for an "upsell" $15 . I know you just started promoting the Ce Mags because I have seen some of your other post on here and the CE webmaster board. You have to give it some time and "tweak" your page. I would suggest making a "text menu" table with all of the CE Mags and give your surfers a wider selection.

If you truly want some constructive tips..go to the CE webmaster board and Rowdy will help you out The very people that tell you not to use free email sponsors ...Have free email sponsors in the exit consoles of their pps sites.

There are many paysites that use CE mags in their exit consoles..I have even seen CE mags text links in the exit console of "other" free email sponsors. It is a good program and there are tons of cheap surfers that don't have credit cards don't miss out on them.

Get rid of that second page. Add some text similar to this or what you had in your second page.

Tell the surfers that they have to enter a real email address because there login and password will be sent to them when they hit the confirm link.

Yes that one line of text near the banner/whatever gets clicked on really does make a difference. Surfers are really lazy

Judging from the fact that there are at least four basic spelling and punctuation errors in the sample you posted, yes, you do seem to be lacking in edumacation.

As has already been pointed out to you, the solution to your problem is:
* learn how to provoke response you desire from the surfer.
* don't waste your time with worthless second pages if you don't know how to sell.
* don't waste SE traffic on free email progs except as a last resort.
* your ad or ad page should reflect the style and tone of the tour you're sending the surfer to.

...and as any direct marketer will tell you, correct spelling instills buyer confidence and makes a quantifiable difference in conversions.

I'd have to agree on the point that using correct spelling on your web pages does create a more professional appearance, spelling mistakes make the author look bad in my opinion.

Having said that, if you insist on correcting people's spelling on a webmaster board, you'll be in for a lot of work, Rorschach. You haven't really given very useful advice either; far too general.
