My girlfriend is going Hollywood!!!!

Just thought I would share thince since many of you have met Crystal.

We where on vacation in Las Vegas for the Britney Spears concert and the CEO of a Hollywood Talent Management Company came up to us. He thought Crystal was really hot and wanted to meet with us. We met with him 3 days ago and he signed her and became her manager. In the past 3 days, he has been showing her portfolio to hollywood producers and has 4 producers interested in putting her in Motion Pictures, Television Series, and/or Commercials.

The pay is $25,000 for a commerical, $100,000/wk for television series, and a lot more for motion pictures.

She is so stoked right now. I am too. Congrats to Crystal!!

dude, major props on the hot girlfriend and her potential hollywood work, but i don't know where you are getting these figures from...for an unknown, regardless of how pretty/hot they are...they will get MUCH less in the beginning.

the most a TV show regular gets is around $5,500K per week, per SAG minimums, unless something is negotiated higher - which won't happen for an unknown with no acting experience.

SAG TV rates

For a commercial you get an upfront fee and paid each time it shows...which can run well into the 5 figures for a long-running commercial...but there are no flat fees for commercials.

SAG Commercial rates

i hope she becomes a huge star, but you might need to rethink the initial income earning potential. just be careful - there is as much scum in hollywood as is porn!

Be careful. I've met with lots of agents and managers and I smell scam central here. She is new and looks like every other cute girl in Hollywood. Anyone talking about how much money she's going to make is selling you and her on something. They shouldn't have to sell you on anything, and I REALLY hope you didn't pay them anything.

My ex-boss's wife is the star of Seventh Heaven and she wasn't even making 100K a week. And she's been working in movies since the early 80's maybe even late '70's.

Have they asked you to pay any money for headshots yet? Or any other fees?

I worked on a few of the "Budweiser Frog" commercials and as a SAG performer. And for a week it was 25K. Unless they buy her out, but no talent scout or agent would know if there was buyout even before he signs someone. All that shit's done in the negotiation of the deal and most first timers get fucked on their first one becuase they don't know what to ask for. And Their agents usually do it for next to nothing just to get their client the exposure.

Also, she's not even SAG yet or AFTRA.. is she? She'll either have to earn it or get Taft Hartley'd.

I don't know man I don't wanna rain on your parade, but some guy throwing out numbers like that doesn't seem like a real agent. 100K per show, without even knowing her capabilities?
