When I started college at CSUn, back in 1988, it used to be an awesome area, now it has gone to shit.

is there still 2 parts of Northridge? My pops used to live in (what was then) the good area a few blocks away from the mall -- and about 3 blocks away from that big ass kmart (is that thing still there). It amazed me there was really like an invisible line that once you passed it was ghetto, but on the other side of that line the houses were nice as hell and had the price tag to match. He sold his place for a shitload of money when he moved.

the whole LA region has gone to hell, but I quess thats a racist slanted comment, I worked in van nuys which has to be the asshole of LA. don't even start me on those people, straight from over the border, all "Im so tough" crap everyday. They park in the middle of the street, flashers on car empty. Moms change diapers in public.. (ok Ican understand a bit there) but then leave the fucking load filled diaper right there were it came off the kid. not a foot here or over there but where ever it came off and hit the ground, bam thats where it stayed. and even with a garbage can 6 ft away, think it would get there? NOPE... And it wasnt a isolted incident, evry day everywhere fucking loaded stinkt diapwers on sidewalks in gutters in front of fucking stores. (oohh Im going to rant).....ggrrrr and movie theaters too. geeezus people get a clue!!) (fighting cause some one looked at my girl shit) aaaaargghhhghg

I'd drive to the topanga area just to shop with people who actually where polite and spoke english... -YOU live there day in day out and your tolerance goes down real fast. to top it off, the little fuckers would drive the street and shoot up cars for the hell of it. Shot up mine twice. One night they shot 6 cars across the street from me. I called the cops and they said, was your car hit , I said no.... then they said "then why are you callijng us? "

2 weeks later they shoot up my RV breaking evry fucking window. I called them back, they dont even want to take a report. "No one hurt?" nope just fucking giving donations to my insurance company...

every weekend in the summer there'd be a shooting and women crying down the street from me. Tolerence for diversity?...no more, I finally moved. sick of it .

we grew up in the same neighborhood then man...I lived in Sun Valley for quite a few years....


I graduated from Poly in Sun Valley...but also attended Notre Dame and N. Hollywood high for a short while...

I got fam in encino and sherman oaks and fucking amazes me every decade at how it can get more crowded and dirtay....who would have thought that even encino is turning into a ghetto...

If people were allowed by law to carry guns concealed in the US, these types of problems wouldnt exist. Problem is today, more gun laws come about, and consequently only thugs and lawbreakers are carrying guns.

Just like when I was a kid, I was under the impression that LAPD would put a bullet in my back if I attempted to run, the psych worked for my entire generation.

He used to live off Corbin between Plummer and Lassen in one of those side residential streets on the east side of Corbin.


I have not been up there (the valley) for about 7 years now... and do not miss that place at all - too damm hot for me up there, I just can't deal with 110+ temps.
