If the cops come to take your computer, they will literally take everything they can find that has to do with your system, including all your accessories (monitor, cable modem, printer) whether or not the devices store data. They are fucking bastards and mindless drones that have no purpose other than to make a name for themselves in the public's eye, and they will likely jump at the chance to nab a headline concerning a sick child pornographer operating locally.
