My Wife's In The Hospital
She'd been complaining for the last couple of days about sharpness in her back when she takes a deep breath and a nagging pain in her chest. She finally couldn't take it anymore and I took her to the emergency room. It turns out that she has a blood clot in her lung. She confessed last night that she'd been throwing up blood. Dang!! She didn't even tell me about it! So, keep a prayer for her! I'd appreciate it!

They hadn't given much information this morning at 6am when I left. Her dad, sister, and niece were there and her other 2 sisters were on the way. At around 4am, the doctor came back into the emergency room and without being gentle at all, just blurts out "Hey you have a blood clot in your lungs! We're going to admit you." ....and then turns and walks the fuck out! I know he's the emergency room physician but damn! Be a little bit more empathetic. Sheesh!

Here's an update. They think the blood clots were caused by her birth control pills. See, the both of us are SUPER FERTILE! We're not trying to have anymore kids (especially after what happened last time). 6 is enough for us. The funny thing is that they did a sonagram on her leg and the tech kept asking her if her leg hurt her...and just kept on asking. Carla's sister and I are thinking that she might have more clots in her leg. The tech isn't able to tell us, though. That info has to come from the doctor, who we see in the morning! Off to bed for a few so I can get up early in the morning and start this all over again!Coming Soon! A NEW revolution in black adult social networking!Comment
