Speaking of kevin mitnick, has anyone read his book?

It's called "The art of deception." He wrote it as a security guide for companies, but you can read it and actually learn how to become a good social engineer. It has examples of how people do it and it goes over what happened in each of the little stories. If nothing else it's some good entertainment. I suggest everyone read it .

I heard from other people that there are better books on the subject. I used to like those Hacking Exposed books, however all the examples in them are old in the way they can't really be done anymore.

    PS what is your password?

Yeah, it was interesting but diminished Mitnick's reputation in my opinion. He turned out to be more of a conman than a hacker. Still, his place in the timeline assured his legendary status.

          "Takedown", excellent film

His book is on my to buy list, also seen the interview he did with thebrokenorg crew. But yes he is more of a conman then a hacker me thinks.
