From the moment I left my house to the moment I sat my ass on my bed in my hotel room in Vegas is took me 19 hours 30 minutes.

My boat sank on Thursday night. Couldn't get a salvage company to refloat it before Sunday. Spent the whole of Sunday and most of today swearing, draining water from the engine, trying to undo fused nuts, busting my knuckles on pieces of un-co-operative fused steel, drying bits and pieces of engine, in the face of utter ridicule from everyone: "that engine is dead! you'll never get it running again! The only way is to take it to the experts, let them take it out of the boat with a block and tackle and totally dismantle it, clean it, replace whatever is totally fucked and then put it back together. There's no way in hell you'll get it running again!"

Well, anyone wanna go for a cruise tomorrow? it's running as sweetly as ever...was misfiring badly at first and making some really ugly noises, but it's as good as new Just one more oil-change tomorrow morning (heh, still a lot of water in there, when you pull out the dipstick this grey gunk drips off it) and she'll be fine.

There were some heavy rainstorms over here, and I was too busy to even think of checking up on her lately. Her stern gets pretty low in the water when the bilge is full, so all it took was a boat passing by too fast...there's a speed limit on the canals in Amsterdam, but of course there are always assholes.

I HATE travelling. Fuck circling the JFK airport due to fucking thunderstorms.. fuck delayed flights, fuck ATM machines that won't give me money.

my best friend ran into a curb and scratch his 650.oo rim we went to casino he won 1k in about 5 mins on slots and we left, next day his car was in shop getting oil change and noice checked from engine, they are replacing the engine with new on on warantee just before he was about to put a supercharger on it.
