    Warming up external drives?

    better to warm them up before starting the system? Or does it make any difference?

    I noticed sometimes firing them up cold into the system they make some nasty weird sounds.... can't be a good thing whatever is going on in there...

      I put my sack on the drives for 5 minutes to pass on some of my sizzle to them
