    RAzor Bumps, Razor Burns

Whats the best way to avoid this? Exfoliate first?

When i shave my chest I sometimes get razor bumos and it takes the attention away from my succulent abs and traps.

    Any suggestions?

Okay I don't shave my chest but I do shave my head -

J-styles gave me some help with this when I started shaving my head - here's what I can offer - Good razor is essential - I use Mach 3's, changing blades often - Good shaving cream - I use Edge gell - shave in the shower when your pores are open - if your still getting bumps try not shaving your chest you girl - just kidding ; )

make sure you let the shaving cream sit on the chest a while before starting to shave-

Exfoliate gently, use a good shaving cream and moisturize after with something water based

Use Clarins products...they sell them at Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus. They have an entire mens line...I use the Shave Ease, and Shaving Gel as well as the Face and Body wash, and my skin has never been better.

Use baby soap to shave with.. Johnson and Johnson Moisturizing body wash, to be exact.. I use it everywhere and almost never get razorburn. Also, make sure to use a VERY sharp razor and warmish water.

exfoliate using warm water to open the pores.....then use betadine solution (kills the germs that cause the redness) and a very sharp clean razor...oatmeal in the shaving cream has been mentioned.. aveeno makes a great one...no lotion afterwards..withchazel to close the pores and it should do the trick. mach 5 is the best razor for guys.

I'd be an alligator without lotion my skin stays so dry.

Definitely a sharp razor and I use the hottest water I can stand.

I use mega lotion also... but alot of lotions contain pertroleum products and this traps in bacteria and clogs the pores..especially if put on right after shaving.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet ....

Juicy, go to a beauty supply store in a predominantly black area of town (where the girls buy their weaves and braids and such ..), and get MAGIC? or MAGIC GOLD?shaving powder

Black skin is very prone to razor bumps ...
This shit will become your new best friend !! If you know how coarse black hair is ... MAGIC will remove it smoothly, WITHOUT A RAZOR !!

If it can do that, I am sure your chest hair will be no problem at all for it to handle.
