Just checked my stats, and last night I popped up my 1,000,000 exit console with a Adult Friend Finder FPA. So, I decided it was time to check to see how well this exit console has been paying. (And why you should switch from your existing exit or pay per click sponsor)
Here's the facts you need to know before reading the stats:
a) The AFF console was popped out at the end of a 5 window chain. Unless the surfer had hahahahahahahahahaha disabled. Then the AFF window is the only window they would see.
b) Traffic is what most would consider garbage. Completely untargeted, blind, or otherwise crap traffic.
c) 1 million impressions. not uniques...so many could be repeat visitors:
Here's how it played out -
a) Uniques counted that clicked through to AFF - 198,657
b) Earnings made - $10,859
c) Earnings per raw console impression - 1.08 cents or $10.80 per thousand
d) earnings per click through 5.47 cents (first page click!!)
e) Conversion 1 in 409 unique clicks (remember, this was exit...non-targeted garbage traffic)
f) Average payout per conversion - $21.98
So, if you are using any exit traffic sponsor (average $3 per thousand) you could be making 350% the earnings using AFF.
Using a pay per click sponsor - one comes to mind that pays 4 cents per SECOND page click. With AFF you could be making the equivelent of 5.47 cents with first page.
