If you like that camera... ( the biggest piece of shit canon has put out in the past 2 yr - it got discontinued after about 4 months on sale ) you should try the 10D, that camera is THE best camera out there....

The 10D will shit and clean itself with the d60, I think even the d30 is better than the d60.

Funny, the d60 the biggest piece of shit, the 10d the best cam. If you read the reviews carefully you will notice that the 10d is indeed *slightly* better, as in faster, better focus, better in low light conditions and cheaper. But the difference is pretty small, way too small to justify what you just said.

I doubt you can tell the difference between a pic taken by a d60 and a 10d since its 95% similar.

Unless you can get a cheap 2nd hand d60. Ignore Dax...the d60 is killer

Here in Holland i paid 3k just for the body but im sure you can find it online for 2k or 2nd hand for 1500 or cheaper...Canon took it out the stores tho when the 10d came out.

And you need a nice lens as well with a cam like that. A 300 bucks lens wont give you that quality.

ya, totally go with Canons L glass lens. wish i still had my L glass got my 50mm 1.8 is hella sharp

And ya the D60 had quite a few issues, worked fine for some, others had lots of probs.

I doubt i'll be upgrading from my D30 anytime soon. its quite nice for what i need. I will likely just buy better lens and some more microdrives in the future.
