Best Analog Video Capture Cards?
I have been using Winnov capture cards for years, but I am curious is there is something better out there. What capture cards do you like best? (analog for capturing/broadcasting WM live streams - I use mini DV for video clips.)

What I do now is... with my Canon Gl2... dump the rca video into it and capture it digital. (DV IN)
Now I have it in a good digital format for longer term storage.
And... can easily capture it thru any DV card...all digitalComment

Seriously, you will be hard pressed to find a better card. Do not settle for their usb crap either. Look at the ones in the 300-4000 range depending on your real needs. Oh and spring for the face plate, it just makes things so simple.Comment

You get a good bang for the buck with winnov. I do not think Osprey compares with them.
I have used winnov for a long time and have bought over 50 of them for the gals on camz and they have worked well with few problems.
I do have one caution. If you are planning on using winnov for a flash media server they have not worked with flash. Or at least I have not been able to get them to work.Comment

You want an osprey. And NOT the USB one. Its not compatible with XP.Comment
