Being a professional means that you are doing business the right way. This includes being ethical, honest, delivering what you promise, staying in touch with clients/partners, being responsible for your actions, etc... etc... it all boils down to the golden rule... treat others as you expect to be treated....
I have found that professionality is lacking in this industry in general....
The people/companies that I find are professional, I tend to graviate to and do more work with.

The problem is naïveté coupled with a general lack of legal and business experience.

This plays a large part of the problem for young people, who want to do the right thing. However there is a group, the cockholsters who are just straight out scammers. ( most of this group has been scammers in different businesses before coming to the web)
