I feel for you man. I'm not going to say that all women can't be trusted, (*ahem*), but I will go so far as to say that an ex is an ex for a REASON.

I have a son who is now 8 years old. The last time I saw him was January 1, 1999. When his father and I split up, his father took EVERYTHING and left me in an abandoned apartment with NO furniture, a payment due, and my truck. That's it.

I was very stupid at that time, but I was also very broke and scared out of my mind because my "solid foundation" had been yanked out from under me. A few days later, he came up with legal papers that he told me to sign because if I didn't, he would call CPS and repost me for neglect and abuse because I had no money, food, or anything in the house and by law that was neglectful of our son. So rather than have CPS take my son and ensure I'd never see him again (so I feared), I signed custody over to my husband.

The husband turns around and signs custody over to HIS parents, ensuring I'd never be able to be with my son again. To top it all off, my son (at last report) was on ZOLOFT for fuck's sake, to keep him calm and manageable, i.e., so that they don't have to parent him and he's a perfect little robot. This poor kid has even been told I'm a drug addicted whore who used to lock him in a closet and smack him in the penis to get him to behave!!

It's been too long since this happened and no attorney will take the case because "you shouldn't have signed anything without consulting an attorney first." (Yep, I'm serious, that's what I was told)

I've done everything I can and still no dice. So I'm setting money aside in an educational savings acount for my son, with his name on it and my name on it. When he turns 18 or so and starts looking for money for schools, this will pop up and he'll have to come to me to get it. Then he and I can sit down and talk about what's happened.

My ex also threatened me with shit when we were divorcing -- my little girl came home one time and told me "Daddy said I'll be living with him soon cause he's gonna put you in the hospital so bad you'll never come out." He also said that he'd take custody away because I'd been treated for depression (in other words, he'd say I was crazy) and because I was a witch. (The bastard was also Wiccan, but he was going to pretend to be a straight-up fine young Christian man so he could take my daughter away.)

I took him to court first, and he got an ass-reaming from a nice judge about what a fucking rotten father he was. I wish I'd videotaped it. He ended up getting his paycheck garnished for non-payment of child support, and when he realized I was going to play hardball and not cave under to him, he took off. He hasn't seen our daughter for three years now, and she's better off without him...just like I have no doubt your kids are so much better off with you. Don't let her get away with this crap -- it sounds like you've got a good lawyer, so use that to your best advantage. She sounds like a psycho, and she doesn't need to be anywhere near your kids.

Abusing the legal system is a serious crime. She wants to accuse you, fire back. Maybe she'd shut up if her bullshit-- kidnapping, crossing state lines with kids not in her custody, false accusations, etc-- put her behind bars.

Well I will go as far as to say you can trust no woman. They are all evil. Sure they pretend to be nice, and act like the best thing that could happen in your whole life. But at the drop of a hat, its gloves off and dirty fighting. Its in their nature, the worst societies in human history have been ran by women causeing some of the bloodiest and cruel wars of all time.
A woman will keep track of everything that can possibly be used to her advantage in order to screw you. They do it to themselves, and they do it to men. Men may fight, but most will follow at least some rules of decency. To a woman, it doesnt matter how close you once were, now you are her worst enemy and every aspect of your life both professional and personal needs to be ruined. Never tell a woman anything that may be used in any way against you. One day it will be.
I thought I had met someone who was an exception to this rule. I let her know everything about me and everything of who I was. 11 years later she turned from princess to harpy over night. Bringing up 11 years of mistakes and actions on my part when spun by her made me out to be the devil himself. Sure I didnt do dishes very often, or clean the house everyday ( her list actually had at least 2 pages of things I had done wrong), but to hear her say it, I purposefully would make every dish in the house dirty by pouring thing from one pot to the other and then dump the contents onto a pile of cloths to make them dirty and then drag them behind my car for fun. To my benifit I must add that while I didnt do these two things often enough, she forgets that I cooked dinner 6 nights a week and breakfast and lunch 3 days, did all the car repairs every weekend, well I regress. I dont need to justify this to anyone as its not part of where I am going.
So to make things as bad as she can for me, she threatens to make it so I can only see my kids every other weekend. Knowing fully that in my line of work (I manage a restaraunt) I have to work every weekend late into the night. Effectively leaving me with seeing my kids while they were asleep. My lawyer told me that in all probability that would be what the judge would recommend since that is standard visitation by law in Oregon. It took months of negotiation and her finally understanding how much money she would have to spend on day car if she had the kids all week, as before we took opposite days off to keep day care down to 3 days a week. Now I get my kids 2 days a week, Monday and Tuesday while they are in school, and part of the concession I had to make was to give her 80% of the profit from the sale of our house along with everything inside it. She got married 2 months later and now my kids think this guy is their dad and keep calling me by my first name. I could bitch about this for days, but you see my point I hope. Women are like mushrooms, they should be kept in the dark and fed nothing but shit.
Now as far as women and their work proformance go, thats another story. I will go out of my way to hire women. Theymake superior managers compared to menand their attention to detail and work ethic is higher than most men, that has been proven in many studies.
