yep I see a connection between events that happen in the ME, it's quite usual. It seems to me like Ben Laden got quite pissed off that he wasn't the one fighting Saddam and that US forces established bases in his country. And let's face it, Saudi Arabia has gone down the drain since GW1. The economy crumbled and the problems increased.
