I saw this one movie once where bobcat bob goldswath (or however its spelled) was a guy who had a sock puppet for a head.
All the other characters where all twisted in a weird sort of way..
It was kinda like a troma film...
Ah yes troma, the best in B films ever
Toxic Avenger
Tromeo And Juliet..
Good stuff..
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Run Lola Run was fun, I watched it all in whatever language it was originaly done in with subtitles cause i did not know my DVD allowed me to change languages...
German.
I didn't know there was a dubbed version but god never watch dubbed versions - they suck and ruin the movie.
If the movie is good you won't care about subtitles.
Loved that movie.. and soundtrack.. wierd? yeah.. but if you watch it from the start.. it makes a little more sense.. a little.

I would have to say these were some pretty wierd movies;
Magnolia (raining frogs)
The Wall (teachers in the blender)
Jacobs Ladder (messed up)
A Clock Work Orange (on acid at like 15 eek)
Being John Malkovich (Strange flick fo sho)
Starring Sean Connery in diapers. It's a science fiction film from the 70s directed by John Boorman (Excalibur). It's as wierd as wierd can be. It starts off with a giant stone head that floats down from the sky and spits out rifles and chants,
"The penis is evil. The penis shoots seed. The gun is good. The gun shoots death."
and from there a bunch of really wierd shit happens. I love it.
Eraserhead is also up there in the wierdness factor but I place Zardoz above it only because Z was a "mainstream" film shot on a real budget.
I sat through that movie, wondering what was going to happen...and at the end of that movie all I could think was, why is that town even part of the US??? Bomb it to hell, I think they would be happier
The worst Science fiction movie EVER made...
How much you want to bet that Sean wish's he could buy every copy of that movie and destroy it.
Its a laugh riot for cheese...The giant stone head is totaly out there...

I like strange movies, but that thing really freaked me out!
And here's an obscure one many of you may be too young to know about:
"Head" starring The Monkees.
This is their mind on drugs!! LOL

That Buckaroo Bonzai promo brings back some memories.
I had some of my very first porn movies on a vhs tape that I labeled:
"Buckaroo Banzai" and "Pale Rider"
A Swedish Eritica Seka movie and Buttman's Ultimate Workout were actually on the tape.
I wish I still had it.

Good stuff..
The movie with Bobcat was "Freaked" directed by Alex Winter (who co-starred with Keanu Reeves in the Bill and ted movies)
Troma fucking rules
Tromeo and Juliet (Lemmy owned that movie along with the pierced tattooed lesbian incest cousin stuff)
Toxic Avenger
Sgt. Kabukiman
Killer Condom
Terror Firmer
"Happiness of the Katakuris, The" or "Katakuri-ke no kôfuku" original title. I have seen most of the movies mentioned here and this thing belongs proudly among them. very, very wierd movie
this is the weirdest movie I have seen but buckaroo is a close second

NAKED LUNCH... David Lynch, starring the guy from RoboCop 1 and 2....
You gotta be high to watch it... and let's not forget
FEAR and LOATHING in LAS VEGAS
Johnny Depp fans get this one!

Yeah...nothing about that movie was right. Eating spaghetti in that dirty tub, killing cats, retarted prostitutes...nasty...
Here are a review of it from Rotten Tomatoes, lol...
"By the end, one almost wishes another tornado would descend and wash away these subnormal characters for whom there is neither redemption nor purpose in life." - Elspeth Haughton
I completely forgot a really good one that isn't the weirdest but weird and definetely a good rent. It is called "Him and Me". It is about a guy and his penis only you get to hear the penis voice his opinions, pretty freaking hilarious.

The movie made us realize that not everyone has a shiny happy existance, especially in a town subject to such extreme poverty. Most of the characters in that movie were really people froma small town and not actors.
My "favorites" are the skinhead brothers who fight in the kitchen....
Wow I have not seen most of these
I see naked lunch comes up a lot, I will have to check that out
I didn't think American Pie, Run Lola Run, and Howard the Duck were that weird compared to The Dark Backward, doesn't look like anyone else but me has seen that movie.
Bill Paxton was also in Lost Highway wasn't he?
That movie was completely fucked up..
Waking life was also pretty messed up..
How about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas?
I can't say that Pulp fiction deserves to be even in the top 100 of this list.. Pulp Fiction actually makes sense.. It has a Story line that I can follow.. those other 3 sure as well don't..
Same for Jacobs Ladder. Fucked up film
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."
Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989
I know its a cartoon and kind of a kids movie, but man that is a trip.
When that old woman says,"And one more thing call me grannie." I nearly flipped.
And that line "Your name is the hoku river" WTF?
I am not an anime fan at all but I happened upon this one and it was worth the time. I think it is rated G, but if your 9 year old niece understands this movie take her to drug rehab immediately.
For actual weird movies I thought Grey Gardens was out there.
American Movie. Strangeness of reality.
Happiness was just plain foul. It is the only movie that has ever made me nauseous. Kind of a tub girl feeling. Not like looking at tub girl, but being tub girl.
