Bowling For Satan??

As some of you know, I'm an avid bowler.

Well, tonight on my league I shot a 666 series (202-252-212) and this is the third time in the last 10 weeks I've shot exactly 666.

So am I bowling for Satan? Should I break down and buy that bowling ballwith the skull in it?

Should I bring my bowling ball to the Vancovuer show? If I do, is anyone else up for a little mini-bowling tournament for fun and games (nothing official, just an excuse to drink beer, swear and bag on each other)?

Hey Sykk...I used to bowl in a league about 3-4 years ago and am thinking about getting back into it again.

I'm North of you just outside of Nellis...you got any good suggestions on an alley and league I could join?

Right now I'm bowling at Sunset Lanes. They aren't bad, but they constantly have mechanical problems, but I'm still carrying mid-190's there, so the lanes conditions are too horrid.

You're pretty close to Castaways which used to be the Showboat which I used to bowl at all of the time. There's a league there on Wednesday Nights called Pony League, I plan on returning to that league this year. One of the most competitive leagues I've ever bowled in.

We had a team of five with averags ranging from 190-210 and we still barely placed top 5. The night I shot my first 700, was excited figuring I'd win some side pot money for the next week, but didn't even make the boards.

If I can up my spare % a bit more I might even look into a scratch league, but not sure I could handle the rpessure.

I have a brand new ball...been new going on 3-4 years *since the last time I bowled* I have never used it...I've been dying to ever since.

Daaaamn I haven't bowled in 3-4 years.....Last time I did however I was 17 with an avg. of 214 so I kicked ass ;p

Lame regulations, I got fed up of playin with kids and moved to the $25/week league where you can win real money, then I got banned for playin for money while under 21...WTF!

Haven't played since, but if any con/show I'm at offers it up I've still got my ballz ;/

I lost a shitload of bowling scholarships by bowling against guys for money when I was 17 (not to be confused with my sister who blowed guys for money at 17 ;-))

I've never heard of anyone under 21 being banned for winning on an adult league though.

when I was 15-16, I was carrying a solid mid-180 average and managed to climb into the 190's, petering out a couple eyars ago at 198...then had to take four years off after a nasty shoulder injury...this past winter was my first season back after that layoff and I managed to finished mid-180's

If I can get my spare % closer to 75-80% I should be able to maintain a deuce average.....

the summer leagues are wrapping up in the next 4-5 weeks and then the winter leagues will be opening back up. If you're up for it, we're 2 short on the prospective pony league team. It's unlike any league I've ever bowled on, they have the typical side pots, card games, brackets and such, but they also have these other little side pots that are progressive like 9 9 counts in a row, stair step series, sparing the 6=7-10, etc....I had the distinction of being the only one to hit the progressive for 6 splits in a row...not really a progressive I was shooting for ;-)

Well I only got banned form the one alley, not the privince or whatever....so technically I coulda found a new place and still played......but just came around the time I couldnt wake up saturday mornings before 4pm anymore ;p

I was never a great bowler, avgd 180's, but it's been awhile and I guarantee you I would blow.

I would just like to get out and hang with some real people, and bowl and have fun...if that's what you guys are about sure thing counte me in.
