                  never lift weights after cardio, that can be dangerous, depending how intense you are....always lift before to drive your metabolism up, then cardio and you'll sweat twice as mucha nd burn like made...it's great and healthier.

                                                      Heather, the Atkins plan may well help, like you I was eating 1 meal a day then I took up a bet to prove to someone that Atkins wouldn't work, I went from one 'healthy' meal a day to eating 3 times a day on 'unhealthy' food and never felt better, the pouonds just dropped off - it may be worth a try.

                                                            Drink 16 glasses of water everyday and walk fast on a treadmill for an hour and a half everyday for two weeks. You'll be amazed on how much weight falls off of you. If you have the discipline, do it for a month.

                                                                        Drink lots of water. Just water, water, water - no sodas! Excercise first before you eat. Stay away from junk, sweets, and salty food. Eat crackers when you're hungry. Don't eat rice. eat little meals spread out in one day. Dance your heart out, or join a class. It burns more calories than walking or running, it's more fun too.

                                                                        You'll lose 5-10 pounds in a week or so.

                                                                              I can't believe people advising for quick fixes. You'll be back to the same problem in a few months.

                                                                              Find some exercice you like (running, swiming, playing tenis, whatever...) that you'll do on the long run and start doing it 3 times a week for about an hour each time.

                                                                              Continue to eat what you like (but you'll see you'll avoid more and more sugar and fat...) and you're going to lose weight.

Coca Cola's is 1200 calories. I used to drink that much every day while the rest of my diet was pretty normal and gained a lot of weight from it.

                                                                                    Could also be from alcoholic drinks.

                                                                                      I got up at 7am, stretched and got on the treadmill for 15 min, then drank 2 8 ounce glasses of water. Im ready to eat breakfast but not sure what to have. Should I just have something simple like a health shake or should I cook something?

                                                                                              Juices tend to have a lot of sugar. Can really work against you. Water is the best way to go.

Take that number and subtract 500. That's how many calories you should take in to lose one pound a week. That's a reasonable pace. Don't get frustrated with the scale as your daily variation might be 3 pounds.

Make sure you're getting at least 1500 calories a day. The above is based on averages but pretty good for most people. You have to be really careful and count everything. Serving size is everything.                                                                                               Do some weight training. Muscle uses more calories than fat.

                                                                                              Go for a 20 minute walk or run every morning. I find outside is less boring. You can walk away from your house for 10 minutes and be forced to walk home.

                                                                                                MY problem isnt that I like to eat, afterall I eat once a day and i am no longer hungry. I dont eat a lot with this one meal either.

                                                                                                Ususally I eat baked chicken with some veggies. (1 piece of chicken and a spoonfull of green beans)

                                                                                                  For an average metabolism that's the calories needed to maintain your weight. Take that number and subtract 500. That's how many calories you should take in to lose one pound a week. That's a reasonable pace. Don't get frustrated with the scale as your daily variation might be 3 pounds.

                                                                                                  It'll take a little over a month before you really know you are getting results. Make sure you're getting at least 1500 calories a day. The above is based on averages but pretty good for most people. You have to be really careful and count everything. Serving size is everything. You can pretty much rule out snacks with sugar.

                                                                                                  You can fine tune some. Eating your calories over 5 small meals is better than eating them all in just a few meals. You should eat breakfast.

                                                                                                  Do some weight training. Muscle uses more calories than fat.

                                                                                                  You can cut back some on your carbs but not real important. Eat your carbs right after you workout. Optimal is to workout then eat half your meal right after you workout (carbs and protein) and then eat the rest of your carbs a half hour later.

                                                                                                  Go for a 20 minute walk or run every morning. I find outside is less boring. You can walk away from your house for 10 minutes and be forced to walk home.

                                                                                                    2. Eat one piece of toast and egg whites
                                                                                                    3. 30 minutes later eat another piece of toast.

                                                                                                    You do this to get your glucose and insulin levels up optimally. This allows your body to store more of the protein you ate as muscle. This decreases your body fat and your body will use more calories.

                                                                                                    If I don't exercise in the morning, I make scrambled egg whites with no toast.

                                                                                                      Yes, because not eating properly and then doing a bunch of physical activity will put your body into stress mode, where it actually turns every bit of food into fat reserves... you are better off eating LIGHT meals three times a day and exercising.. make sure they're balanced.. you will lose weight instead of packing it on
