I will be making the decision to either offer a recurring 50-60% or a one time payout with a new paysite I am building. From what I've seen of most sponsors the trend seems to be the one time payout, but is that really what you as a webmaster prefer to receive??
recurring vs one-time payout, your thoughts?

dunno ... i personally would rather use per signup, but so many of the good sites only offer recurring since they are so small ...HEY!!
Unbeatable hosting! Customer service is top notch!
--> ISPrime <-- Do a search on any board, their reputation is rock solid .. for years!! -
Whichever of the two can return the most money to my bank account within a reasonable amount of time. What's reasonable to me? I think 30-45 days max, I don't want to be dependant on someone else's efforts to keep a member recurring, especially since the overwhelming majority of members do not recur, no matter what some people will tell you.Comment

I'd really like to commission you for some exsclusive content for a new shemale paysite I'm building. How can I contact you and how much do you charge?
I've got to say you're one of the most realistic pre-ops I've ever seen.

If you want to have a lot of webmasters promoting your site then pay per signup is the way to go.
You'll need a hefty bankroll to be able to do that thoughsig too bigComment

yah I would imagine that would be the case. I was thinking of working with a recurring until I had income coming in and then going to a per signup...but I wanted to post this thread to get people's feedback b/c I didn't know what was preferred.Originally posted by Lenny2

Unless you have deep pockets, don't start out with pay per signup. Until you have some really solid math on what to expect, you stand a serious chance of losing a ton of money if you pick the wrong payout point.

I can imagine. I would never start with that because I don't have deep pockets to begin with lol but wanted to know people's preference in general. I suspected it would be paypersignup by a landslide but it's not...people are divided, that is coolOriginally posted by gothweb

Like I said, you're realistic, but not that realistic! A true enthusiast can still see that "I'm a nasty tranny whore" thing peeking through! So how much for some shots?

do you think theres anything the small site owner can do about that? add more content? lower prices? or do you think the surfer gets bored no matter what and will leave?Originally posted by Kimmykim

No it is a landslide, pay per sign up dwarfs partnership.Originally posted by kisskatlyn

Don't let a handful of responses on a webmaster board fool you. You're going to have a really hard time getting people to promote your site(s) with a 50/50 or 60/40 program.sig too bigComment

I think people woill prefer a pay-per-signup unless you have a proven record of 3-4 month member retention (or however long it takes for renewals to make more than the pay per sigup)
Webmasters will and should go with whatever makes the more money.....ofcourse if it taskes loneg than 3 months as said above, it might start losing its attractiveness....
ie. if you make $35 per sigup, but only $32 if they renew for 3 months, signup will be better.....if they make $50 in 6 months, thats too long.
If they can make more than signup in 3-4 months top, then its good (assuming your avg member stays that long)
btw excuse moi but im really tryin hard to type without werrors drunkenn ;pComment
