    What do you collect?

    Personally I have an addiction to rare music. Right now I am in an old hairband phase so I am buying all sorts of oddball CDs from the 80's & 90's.

    I used to collect "Homies" (http://www.streetgangs.com/homies/) but unfortunately I have them all now.

    What kind of worthless crap do you spend your money on?

                                          I used to collect baseball and basketball cards. My collection was up in the thousands of dollars range. But I stopped collecting because I realized it was a kids thing.

                                              I used to collect a lot of things as a kid; cards, comic books, coins, stamps. All the nerdy stuff. I was just in it for the money though. ;-)

                                                                                  Was into sports cards when I was younger. Always in it for the money. The summer after 8th grade I rented a table at a sports cards show for me and a couple buddies to use and pawn off some of our cards, pull in the big bucks! Didn't make one sale.

                                                                                  Since then I've made one more sports card purchase. Picked up a box of assorted star cards from nocostporn for $100. Wasn't a bad pick up at all.

                                                                                                      1940's Bakelite items ( mostly flatware and kitchen items) and anything that is origianal Art Deco. I have picked up amazing items on Ebay / thrift stores and yard sales that would be outrageously priced at antique stores.

                                                                                                      I got 2 vintage 100% original fridges in my house now a 1957 Kelvinator that is in the basement keepin the beer cool and a 1962 Shelvanator that is one of the first to have a freezer on top.

                                                                                                      All the glass fittings / storage bins everything is in place on both and I got them both for NOTHING. There are places that charge $2k to as high as you want to spend for these rebuilt although, without some original parts.

                                                                                                      $2k sale price on a investment of ZEro....

                                                                                                      Not bad I say.

                                                                                                              I also like to collect SpongeBob SquarePants stuff too LOL and umm candle holders =)
