Get Fist of Legend. It's an older Jet Li flick and it's my favorite martial arts movie. I like Bruce's movies, too, but Fist of Legend is really a cut above.

Karate really is passè as far as a martial art goes... not very exciting to watch...

Jet Li is truly awesome... Fist of Legend was spectacular, although I have a thing for his earlier work... Once Upon a Time in China is a great series.

Bloodsport is the only true martial arts movie. I loved that movie so damn much when I was a kid.

My younger brother and I used to watch saturday morning and afternoon karate flicks growing up.

They would run all day long.

I honestly couldn't tell you the names of them now but there were definitely some classics in there.

And of course after the movies were over we'd kick the shit out of each other pretending we were the guys in the flicks

Sony Chiba (spelling) aka The Street Fighter. This mutha fucka was bad ass. He would punch a whole in your chest and pull out your heart, literally. Definately worth a watch.

Ok i am a big fan of Jet, Jackie, Bruce,
                      Loved Once Apon a China 1 2 and 3
Drunkin Master, with Jackie then Andi for 2 and 3, Loved Crime Story and the Police stories, But Jet i think takes the cake as far as the best movies go. I cant remeber how many of these films i have seen but i lovem all my ex did martial arts too and loved em as much as me so got to see heaps.

Jack-IE Jack-IE Jack-IE! Just watched Shanghai Knights last night. Chan outdid Shanghai Noon, 100 fold!!

Calmly awaiting Shanghai Morning... Breakfast?... Dawn?? :D

No one will ever outdo the "Hero" movie that Chuck did. Jet is all that etc but he's not Chuck. Its all in the attitude. Sort of like having Ben Affleck try to pull a Clint Eastwood. The crook would get 'busted' all right, from laughing himself unconcious!!

The Old school kung fu movies are still the best in my book,

Before all the wire work was used much.

"The 5 Deadly Venoms" is always going to be at the Top of my list.

Just watched "Iron Monkey" last week for probably the 30th time.

Elvis, see if you have a CD Warehouse somewhere close by. I know they are up there but I'm not sure of the cities. Talk to the owner, they have access to literally hundreds of thousands of new and used movies besides the ones in the store at any given time. We started finding old martial arts at a store close to us and they have them on sale all the time too. VHS or DVDs. Worth checking into... seems like alot of people are trading their vids for dvd now.
