my thoughts about the latest VISA regulations

well, I´ve been thinking a lot about the new VISA regulations lately, been reading articles and shit. I only come to one conclusion (and it´s a pretty easy one too):

VISA does not want to have ISPS to process credit cards, they are simply trying to cut out the middle man and add their 10% - 15% to VISA´s income. by drying out the ISPS market VISA will tripple their income and I am pretty sure it will happen within the next 12 month ... mark my words !!

How would killing IPSP's make visa extra money?

And again I ask, how does killing the middle man make visa the extra 15%? They don't charge 15% to process.

I doubt Visa wants to deal with a bunch of small porn companies on their own.

More likely, they don't care if they process for adult at all. Besides that the U.S. government is probably giving them big pats on the back behind the scenes for punishing the online adult industry.

I think they will just keep changing the regs endlessly for the forseeable future.

Visa deals with millions of much smaller businesses already.

                      This sounds about right.

The government, congress in particular, is simply a pawn of the credit card companies and vice-versa. They say what the companies want them to say, and in return the banks and card operatives do them some "favors". MBNA, the nation?s second-largest credit-card company, was the top contributor to Bush?s election campaign. The banks that control the market dump truckloads of money in the laps of politicians that they know are crucial in blocking any law being passed that would prevent the companies from sticking it to the consumer with interest gouging by the card companies and banks themselves.

                      One hand washes the other.

                      Ouch.

I think you may be mistaken. Visa deals with a few big companies like First data and Nova who deals with a few other big companies like Card Service International (Unorganized Bastads) who deal with the small companies and who also deal with other small companies that branch of them that deal with small companies.
