What to do in Brisbane, Australia?
I'm going to Brisbane for 4 days. What should I do? Does Steve Irwin still do shows at the Australia Zoo?

Australia zoo is still open but steve might not necesarily be there if he's off filming on loacation somewhere
its about 2 hours out of brissy a good day trip
if you want to check out some clubs try The Velvet Cigar on caxton Street and Universal lounge in the city
theres really not a lot to do in brisbane ..its very boring

jet ski, better clubs, bungee jumping, great beaches, if you like golf they got the best courses
all the theme and amusement parks are there

Ok last time i went to surfers i took my girl we went to the Hog Breathe cafee on a Saturday night . There was a band with 4 males in the band 3 barstaff 2 bouncers which we also male and well everyone else in the whole place were chicks i will tell you Surfers is a babe feast. There's a good rave on this weekend if you're into that sort of thing.
System 6 Overdrive in the Valley...
Not sure what else there is to do... cruise the brisbane river (yay), go to southbank (even bigger yay), check the museum (it's about 3 rooms big).
If I had time I would go down to Mt Tamborine and go hangliding... tons of fun!
School holidays are also on I think... you could sit in the mall and smell the "innocence"... then proposition some

Australia Zoo is an hour outside of brisbane, lots of new stuff has opened up there in the last 12 months (i go a couple of times a year - any time a foreigner visits me in brisbane) ;-)
I've seen him there twice, but you have to check his tour schedule to see if he's in town ... they always have a replacement that talks and looks the same though
Not sure when you'll be here, but the Valley Fiesta is on this weekend - lots of bands in every pub in Fortitude Valley. The casino is not great, but its a nice building and worth a look. Southbank (across the river from the casino) has markets, pubs etc - you can get on the citycat and take a trip around the river if you are into touristy stuff like that.

During the day there are some great markets around the place, in the valley especially. Hit Southbank Parklands for the closest you'll get in brisbane to a beach, its quite nice for a walk around.
Resurants, you should hit the park road district in milton, or some really nice places in west end and rosalie over on the southside.
Take a ride on a 'citykat', thats good touristy fun.
Even though its not in brisbane, if i were you, spend at least one day down the gold coast in one way or another, either hit the beach or goto one of the theme parks maybe.
And every pub has its own unique character, make sure you get smashed at the local pub wherever your staying on at least one of the nights (remember, the girls here love accents)

I'm not on the market anymore thank god. Had enough of clubs, Quest the new super club was great until they cranked up the volume so bad you lose 1/100 of your hearing every time you go there.
