Yep the reason why the orca attack the shark was that it got to close to her calf, I think she fed the shark's liver to the calf!!
But there has also been documented cases where great whites have killed killer whales, they kill each other, each species is specialist killer in it's own respect!!
Also great white sharks have been found recently to be responsilble for some mass beaching by whales due to these sharks hunting in packs!!
They are not as dumb as people think, the reason why most people bit by a great white and suffer severe or fatal injuries is that on average the shark has 4000 pounds per sq inch in biting pressure, 9 times out of 10 it bites thinking your a surfer then realises once it bites that you aren't!!
I think there are divers who dive with them with no protection!! They understand the shark and stay out it's way lol!!
