women soon to be back under mens control

Pat Robertson on Supreme Court judges:

"One justice is 83-years-old, another has cancer and another has a heart condition. Would it not be possible for God to put it in the minds of these three judges that the time has come to retire?''

BYE BYE ABORTION. WOMEN WILL SOON BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF MEN ONCE AGAIN.

        Pat Robertson!?

I saw that guy heal people on his show, over the phone, in the name of God!

What does it take really for people to realize that him, Farewell and those other extremists are total clowns?

Yet, millions and millions of christian americans will believe everything they'll say!!? UN real!

Makes you think we're in the wrong business, doesn't it?

You might be in the wrong business, but I have been talking to people about doing the whole TV preaching thing. This one lady preacher down here in Tampa on TV makes millions per year. I still see that one guy on tv where you mail him your bills and he'll pray to help you get out of debt on tv. The christian preaching business is a big money business. These TV preachers make millions each year and people just give it to them instead of to help out the poor.

maybe we could back someone to be a preacher with the stipulation that they go on talk shows and such promoting porn and its good values and how god would have wanted it this way

maybe it could even be tax deductible to run this guy...lol

                Robocop,

Let me give you this scenario:

I am assuming you are male of course, lets' say you have an eleven year old daughter, she was walking home from school one day and a man picks her up.
Bypassing the details of this horrible situation, she is raped and then becomes impregnated with the rapist?s child. You are going to sit there and tell me, ?BYE BYE ABORTION. WOMEN WILL SOON BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF MEN ONCE AGAIN??

Incredibly well-put, Ballina But, it goes beyond this scenario -- does the female have to be a child? does the situation need to be one based on violence? Absolutely not.

There's a reason that our democratic forefathers called on a separation of church from state -- well, at least as much as one is possible. The beauty of living in a liberal democracy is that I, as an individual, have the right to choose what I do with my body (within limits granted). Maybe it took women a while to attain that right....to control their bodies...but, that wasn't necessarily because those universal principles were wrong -- they simply weren't being applied to all people (and still aren't in some cases).

Don't think that after having attained that right that Western women will simply go back passively to living under the physical, political, economic, and social control of men. Simply isn't going to happen....our entire social make up has been changed with the merging of women in the public sector over the last 70 years. And I can assure you that it won't happen -- not with a new breed of women who simply don't buy into the whole *sanctity of domesticity* myth -- who can't because they can't afford to live like that.

                        Sweetums,

                        I just adore you.....
Right, the scenario is wide open, each woman has their own story to tell.
Your words are that of a very wise WOMAN.

                        Hugs doll,

Sweetums and VSBallina - well put!

abortion was made immoral when the church needed more followers - hundreds of years ago. we are now dangerously overpopulated and surely do not need unwilling women to continue this. we don't have enough jobs or enough money for the people we already have.

not only that, a lot of 14 and 15 year old girls are sexually active but unable to make an adult decision. they don't have the resources - either financial or emotional - to raise another human being. and goodness knows a bunch of totally unwanted babies aren't going to lead to a better world.

why not leave the moral decisions to each individual and not to a group? we all have to decide things like this for ourselves. in the early 70's women used to die trying to keep from having babies. why would we wish that on anyone?

people like Pat Robertson are making millions judging other people, and the bible says not to do either. too bad so many people are afraid to think for themselves.
