It depends on the website. There is a whole science devoted to what colors make people do what in what reigons of the world. Take for example McDonalds has been infamous for the orange/yellow red and/or white color scheme.
Well that orange/yellow color is known to make people hungry. Red is highly associated with danger. Blue/Green are associated with safety although Dark Green is known to stimulate sexual prowess.
Really interesting reading/research do some searches on the internet you will be amazed at what you will learn about how colors affect us.Comment

I keep coming back to white. It looks clean and organized. BUT I do dress it up with a faded pic of some sort, like wallpaper.
