to add to your question, has anyone bought a car from ebay from a different country than the one you're shipping it to?
a couple of months ago i was looking at buying a car from ebay - from the US and shipping to Canada. i wonder what sorts of issues would arise as far as emissions/etc...we'll miss you our friend. RIP -

I once bought a car off eBay. Don't do it unless you have seen it in real life. They usually don't take photos from the bottom of the car and you'll end up with a worthless piece of junk ready for the scrapyard.

No I bought cars in England once or twice, using the UK eBay. I didn't ship it, I went over there and drove them back.
Had one mispurchase.

I wouldnt do it i got fucked very hard this is another reason i am heading back home to the usa other the show i have to be in court to get my cash back from a fucking drit bag off there ,
dont get me wrong not all our , but fuck man it seems the ones that our on ebay damn sure sell cars
i have bought alot of bike and never have probs over cars two times i did , so fuck all them selling cars there !

Ebay is great for buying and selling cars, about to list a car this week to clean out my garage. I bought a hummer off there few years ago. I would highly suggest either looking at the car in person, or getting it checked out by a neutral 3rd party. Stick to sells with a ton of positive feedback.Sig too big

I have an uncle who has bought 4-5 cars from ebay. They are all older British cars, and they've had plenty of pics, etc. But he goes and drives or trailers them back.
He just bought one in Newfoundland, and plans to get it in the next couple weeks. I don't know what the issues are with bringing it into the country, but I'm sure it's not too much work. But these are mostly shaw cars, not daily drivers...
