It's designed still looks like amateurs' first html tests 10 years ago ....
Maybe it has very well sorted galleries, but there are 100s of even better tgps ?

its simple he was the first, plus becuase of the amount of submited galleries he gets, he has the best galleries.

Big respect goes out to him, because if I had that site with 3mill uniques a day, I would employ 2 full time gallery makers to make galleries and mix it up with sponsor hosted galleries and keep every cent for myself

The paradox really is that for getting your gallery listed there, you get an aweful lot of non-converting traffic.
And every time my galleries have been listed, I wonder if I have to submit. A lot of other sites are smaller but convert much much better.
But than again, just submitted another gallery there

When they hacked my ccbill stats page back in August 2000 they:
1) Cancelled out 4-500 recurring members - How much that is worth is difficult to say - 29.95 X months -

2) My entire members email list was then spammed - So I lost that and it's value -

3) Also lost many webmaster partners because they wrote to all of those using MY NAME saying I was a part of their programme

4) Stealing www.smokingfetish.net and it's value -

Don't know - But a hell of a lot at the end of the day

SunnyJack at least had the guts to say they hacked my sites and also admitted they stole my share of the smoking domain from me - He did say he was going to post a press release about this - But the weazle backed off -

They added loads of passwords to the pass file from the ccbill interface - My server was almost burned out by all the password site freebie hunters.

Candid hosted warned me that it was SunnyDoallers crawling all over my server - Sunnydallers were also hosting with cadid at the time and their ip was logged ;

Mark (fraud @ ccbill) Went through all the ccbill logs and discovered their ip address was logged for entering my ststa page 215 times -

Since then, Sunny Dollars have been to court for stealing and using pirated software and my case against them is still open -
It has now been taken from our local police and put in the hands of a group of computer fraud specialists in Warsaw.

So I am still hopeful of getting this sorted out correctly through the courts.

As fot the hun it always amazes me that so many in this business (especially true on a TGP) forget the surfer is after porn and not pretty graphics, slow loading pages filled with 500 thumbs, flash animations or any other crap. Getting in at the beginning understanding how branding works and maintaining very high quality is going to work every time no matter what site you run.

Well - The person in charge of webmaster accounts at that time often posts here, and I have tried my level best to get her to say this did, or did not happen - For her own reasons, she says nothing -

About 2-3 months back SunnyDollars posted saying they were taking me to court for saying lies against them - (Thread below)

Yes, sure I did - After they borrowed money from me and didn't pay me back, after stealling domains from me, after stealing and using my ideas, after trashing my car, I am supposed to have given them the password!!!!!!

Like fuck I did!

SunnyJack told me and my wife that Slawynsky of SunnyDollars tried every possible combination of words around my family members and eventually he got lucky -

Which is, of course, hacking

I think there is only one person who genuinely and regularly makes money from TheHun and a WHOIS search would tell you who that is.

Mainstream business practice tells us that there are positive and negative expectation markets, and to stay away from the later in favor of the former.

What I mean by a negative expectation market is a market that on the whole returns less than is put in. In TheHun?s case this would mean that if you could total up all of the webmasters gallery expenses (advertising, bandwidth, design) and subtract it from the webmasters gains (signups) you would be left with a negative figure.

Why do I think TheHun is a negative expectation TGP? Because if you read the boards for peoples views about the quality of TheHun traffic you will find on the whole very poor opinions. Finding then sorting the positive from negative expectation TGPs is one of the first steps in TGP submission success (IMO).

One last note. Remember that participating in positive expectation markets does not guarantee success and likewise negative expectation markets do not mean automatic failure.

I think you'd find a good proportion of Hun submitters would lose money on their (free) listings because their galleries don't have a hope in hell of selling any damn thing, regardless of the source of traffic. You can definitely make money with Hun traffic with the right product/ price/ promotion.

So because a bunch of rejects with crappy galleries can't make sales, The Hun is suddenly a "negative expectation market"?

Thought about it - Many times! Came close to getting hold of them myself - But both Slawynsky brothers and their halfwit programmer took off up the road like jack-rabits - What a fucking site that must of looked like - Three fit under 30 year olds doing a 100 metres in World record time to escape a fifty year old.

If the chance presents itself - I will take it. Living here, it would be easy to pay some one for this - But I haven't yet considered that - My wife persuaded me to go the law route first - If that fails - Then ...
