I had a site with Adult Central and left shortly after signing up. Capped lines are an awful way to host a site, slow. I was with Pro Hosters which wasn't bad at first but then bang they fell apart. There has been enough said about them at the AWI board.
I switched to ISPrime, which hosts Pimpserver free hosting. They have alot of bells and whistles for your buck. The best is unlimted domain hosting and they have great support.

Most of my sites are on servers these days.
I used to print them on paper and and get 50,000 copies made and post them through peoples letterboxes untill all the locals started complaining, used to save a fortune on BW but heavy on paper bills....

Seriously. Just go buy DSL and set up your own server. That's what I do. So much easier in my opinion.

I use ISPrime too. I just switched over, and so far I'm really impressed. They helped me by FTPing my site from my old host, have been quick to respond by e-mail, phone, or ICQ, and my sites load up fast. I'd recommend them.

I don't know, Lord. I think 1.5 MbPS upstream comes to about 11 Gigabytes of transfer per day. You also get 3MbPS down. That's probably enough to do just about anything except freehost like Lightning (he probably eats that up in an hour).
Just my passing thoughts...

you guys keep surprising me by only talking about pricing! face it guys, what's more important: top reliability and speed or price!?!? reliability and speed ofcourse! coz if you go down often or your site is slow you won't be able to make any real money anyway! and that's what you're all trying to do after all right?!
well, IEP hosting (iephosting.net) is offering you that constant top quality reliability and speed and that's exactly what you're paying that little more for! it's so easy, the cheaper the host, the less money is left for reliability and speed (network) issues...
and if you really wanna go for the cheap one, i'm not the one to stop you... all i can tell you is that you will not be the first to be desperate after your so-called great ultracheap host has been down for two days and all your sites are dead and you won't be making a dime anymore and you will have to build your empire from the start!
so what do you prefer; investing that little extra money in some good nightrest and the knowledge your empire where you've worked at all time is in good hands or saving it for the moment you won't be making any money at all anymore due to a major hosting trouble!!?

Oh SweetJimmy you are too funny. "get away from US Laws"?? Won't happen. They don't care where the server is. They will be making the laws on the PEOPLE and if you are a US Citizen they gotcha.
It might slow them down for 10 mins while they trace the server but thats it. Hopefully they won't go so far as to try and pass too many obscenity laws but if and when they do it will surely be written so that they can nail webmasters.
They should be busy tussling with the UN for awhile now tho.
But Ashcroft is having meetings with Family Groups and church associations. Their agenda is porn.

It doesnt matter where your site is hosted US, canada, France ,it might as well be on Mars, When they come to get you they go after who ever is making the money off the site.If you live in the US and your server is on the moon and your the one making the money they will have your ass.
