The British govt lied repeatedly in tune with the US Admin. What the UK govt says on the issue of Iraq is as reliable as Bush claiming he is a "compassionate conservative".
Ask the people who know (IAEA) more about uranium than the UK or US and they also, would like to know what "further evidence" exists that there is suitable quality uranium in Niger for the production of weapons. They are still waiting for any "evidence" from either the UK or US goverments. And time rolls on.....

So.. this means:
(a) he left the contraversial comment in
(b) he took it out
(c) he did not see, as he claims, the "final version".
In which case.. if he left it in, he may hold some repsonsibility. If he took it out, who inserted it again??
Taking that into the context of a trail of prior lies, I have no doubt there is more than enough latituide that this, once again, was a lie to up the "anti" at the time.
This also raises other questions... Can the Admin be trusted to get any facts correct?
If it is a lack on communication, I'd hate to see the day a missle is heading for the US and some debate going on as to whether it is true of a result of some deviant weather on a radar screen.
